Behind this happy face,

The country that once prospered under your rule,

The hope that there will be days,
When the country will recover,
And transform itself to a new and better one,
And will be as peaceful and prosperous as in your time.

Your poems are all very touching, but I found this one more attractive than others because it expresses what I feel inside. I hope one day, our country will be as peaceful and prosperous as his time again.
King Jayavarman VII is the king that I most respect for and pround of, I was very impressed the first time that I learned about him.
